RETIRING.

Lily Allen for close to the past year has been threatening retirement from the music business. She claims to hate it, which saddens me because i love her in it. Her voice is so effortlessly brilliant, she reaches the highest octaves without and trouble and her lyrics are crude, witty and hilarious. 

I've seen her live twice and each time she looked lovely and sounded lovelier. Her stage presence is great, she interacts with the crowd through conversations and dances. She has performed on the Chanel runway, sworn at Elton John at an award show (ad then dedicated a music video to stalking and kidnapping him), and been a drunken mess too many times to count.

I honestly hope she falls on her word and stays around forever, because she is wonderful.

THIRTEEN

Tonight (last night i guess) i watched "Thirteen" with Hannah, Andrea and Nina, Julia was lame and bailed after our dubious activities. 

This movie is so powerful, it lets you know that your in for a ride from its opening scene. These 13 year old girls, in year 7 mind you, go around doing things i can't wrap my mind about. 

This film remains a classic in my mind, its fucked up but its so great at the same time. If for any reason at all you have not seen this movie, please do.
